Anne Simon and her team Black Bears of the Maine university lost the America East championship final against Ulbany (47:56) and just missed the main March Madness tournament.
Our national team player scored 15 points and added 6 rebounds and 2 steals but it was not enough to grab the victory in front a sold out crowd (1329 people) at home. The team has qualified for the upcoming WNIT and will begin postseason action in round one which is scheduled to take place March 16-18.
