Weekend recap with video highlights

This weekend, a complete game day was on the schedule in the women’s and men’s Enovos League.

In the men’s Enovos League, game day 18 was on the schedule.

Racing Luxembourg – T71 Dudelange 81:87
– T71 improves to 11:7, Racing’s record drops to 5:13
– The guests stormed back with a furious last quarter (31:17 in their favor) and Racing had 2 straight crucial turnovers in the final seconds, Jimmie Taylor led T71 with 21 points, Ivan Delgado added 20

Kordall Steelers – AB Contern 98:82
– The Steelers improve to 6:12, Contern’s record drops to 1:17
– Both teams had a new professional player on the roster. Jalen Reynolds (Kordall) and Marcellus Laventis (Contern) made their debut
– Erik Timko led Kordall with 31 points

Musel Pikes – Etzella Ettelbruck 82:115
– Etzella improves to 14:4, the Musel Pikes have a 3:15 record
– Everette Hammond made his debut for the Musel Pikes
– Etzella hit 20 threes on 40 attempts, a new season high in the Enovos League

Amicale Steinsel – Arantia Larochette 85:87
– Arantia has a 15:3 record while Amicale’s record drops to 12:6
– Kevon Godwin made the decisive basket late in the game, unfortunately the Live Arena did not work for the final minutes of the game, Godwin led his team with 32 points

Basket Esch – Mambra Mamer 89:79
– Esch improves to 12:6, Mamer’s record drops to 6:12
– Quinten Nelson and Clancy Rugg each scored 23 points to lead Esch

Résidence Walfer – Sparta Bertrange 72:89
– Sparta has a 15:3 record and stays in first place, Résidence has a 8:10 record
– Jarvis Williams scored 29 points, Victor Iwuakor had to leave the game in the second quarter with an injury. Max Logelin and Yannick Verbeelen added double digit scoring for the leader in the standings

Enovos League women
In the women’s Enovos League, the fifth game day of the second round was on the schedule.

AB Contern – Basket Esch 72:86
– Esch has a balanced 8:8 record and jumps to the 4th place
– 4 guest-players scored 14+ points, Jovana Jaksic led the team with 24 points
– Esmeralda Skrijelj had a triple double (10 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists) for Contern

Musel Pikes – T71 Dudelange 68:101
– T71 (16:1 record) has already clinched the first seed, the Musel Pikes (3:14) can not enter the semi finals
– 11 players scored points for Dudelange, Svenia Nurenberg had a team-high 21 points

On Sunday:
Les Sangliers Wiltz – Sparta Bertrange 51:81
– Sparta has a 12:4 record while Wiltz (2:14) remains in last place
– Jordan King led Sparta with 29 points
