Head coach Denis Toroman:
„We are very happy to start the second season of the CFBB project. After a very positive first season, it is exciting to see the project continue and to welcome a new group of young players into the team. Last season, we saw many of our players make significant progress, and we are excited to see what this new group can achieve together.
This season brings a new challenge, with 10 new players joining the roster. We start tonight in Heffingen after only 12 practices together. We are still building our identity, learning to play for one another and establishing the basics of our offensive and defensive systems. With so many new players, everyone is at a different stage of readiness to play and compete at N2 level, so patience will be very important.
Every practice and every game will be an opportunity to learn and grow, including tonight in Heffingen.Practices are an essential part of our program, but games allow the players to make decisions under pressure, face different situations and compete against older, better and more experienced opponents.
Building this team will take time, and there will naturally be ups and downs. From the first game, however, we expect the right attitude, courage and effort. Our goal is to improve every day, learn from every practice and game, and become stronger together throughout the season, while also helping each player continue to grow and develop individually.
Ultimately, for us as coaches and staff, the real results of the CFBB project are not only measured by wins and losses. The biggest reward is seeing our players develop, gain confidence and go on to perform at a high level with their clubs and on the international stage. Seeing their progress and knowing that we have played a small part in their development is what makes us truly proud and happy. »
