On Sunday, the women’s Enovos League season 2026/27 started with the second edition of the « LADIES OPEN », all games were played in Oberanven (gym of Gréngewald Hueschtert). Plenty of visitors (around 500 per game) were in the gym for every Enovos League game.
AB Contern – Les Sangliers Wiltz 84:72
– Contern took an early lead (24:10), Wiltz was able to fight back but never came close enough to turn the momentum around
– Hannah Stines almost had a triple double (19/15/9) while Esmeralda Skrijelj (18/10/7) had an impressive overall performance, Contern knocked down 13 threes
Basket Esch – T71 Dudelange 61:84
– Esch led 49:36 at the break after a very strong first half, T71 reacted with a 48:12 second half to win the game
– Catherine Mreches scored 25 points while Lauren Van Kleunen added 19 points
Gréngewald Hueschtert – Musel Pikes 83:87
– In a very intense game, the Pikes had the better finish
– Magaly Meynadier, who is currently active for the Musel Pikes but still looking for an opportunity abroad, scored 20 points for the Pikes to lead the team
