Our U16 girls and boys are playing in Riga (EYBL / EGBL) at the moment, here are the results, pictures and analysis by the coaching staffs.
GIRLS
Young Angels Academy Kosice – Luxembourg 37:42
Coaching staff:
Against the favorite of the tournament, Luxembourg played well, they followed the game plan and the game was only decided in the final minutes. Small things made the difference in the end against a physically strong opponent, we just missed the semi-finals.
Luxembourg – RBJSS Ridzene 67-14
Coaching staff:
In this second game of the day, our girls showed a good collective effort and a great mindset to grab a win. Our U16 team will play for place 5 on Sunday.
BOYS
TARTU BS – LUXEMBOURG 64:45
Coaching staff:
We lacked fighting spirit in this match, team spirit and communication. We made too many turnovers and left too many offensive rebounds to our opponents. We hope for a reaction for the second game of the day.
Luxembourg – Ridzene 53:59
Coaching staff:
The desire was much better than in the first game, with a very good defense, we won the first half 33-25. However, in the second half, we had a lot of turnovers which allowed our opponents to get back into the game and once again we lacked the experience to finish the game.
