After a very important road victory on Sunday, league leader Racing Luxembourg could secure a spot in the men’s Enovos League with a victory against Contern and a victory by Mamer at the same time. Mamer is under pressure, the team needs a victory to avoid relegation and keep the chances alive for the final game day. Furthermore, the direct comparison might become a factor, the Musel Pikes won the first meeting on a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer 95:94. With a home victory, the Musel Pikes could keep their chances alive to secure the first place against Racing on the final game day.
All in all, the play-down has been spectacular so far with multiple close games and game winning plays in the final minutes and seconds (watch the videos below). Multiple scenarios remain possible for the final game day. Only the first placed team secures a spot in the men’s Enovos League for the 2026/27 season, the second placed team will play a « best of 3 » Barrage series against the 3rd placed team of the National 2 (US Heffingen or Gréngewald Hueschtert). The 3rd and 4th placed teams relegate to the National 2.
