After winning the gold medal at the European Championship for small countries, our women’s national team will now compete in the FIBA Eurobasket 2023 Qualifiers.
On Friday, the groups were drawn, here are the opponents that our women will face Italy, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Group A: Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, North Macedonia
Group B: France, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland
Group C: Spain, Hungary, Romania, Iceland
Group D: Turkey, Slovenia, Poland, Albania
Group E: Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria
Group F: Russia, Montenegro, Denmark, Austria
Group G: Greece, Great Britain, Portugal, Estonia
Group H: Italy, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Switzerland
Group I: Belarus, Czech Republic, Netherlands
Group J: Sweden, Latvia, Israel
The Qualifiers will be played over three windows on November 11-14, 2021, November 24-27, 2022, and February 24-27, 2023. The games will be played normally in home and away games, not in a bubble.
