Our men’s national team will be in action in the 2029 Eurobasket pre-qualifiers on Sunday at the Coque in Kirchberg. At 16:00, the FLBB squad will face group winner North Macedonia, it is the 6th and final game of the competition.
A qualification for the next round remains possible. Luxembourg needs to win its game against North Macedonia, ideally with a high advantage. At the same time, Bulgaria has to lose its game in group B against Norway. Bulgaria currently has a point differential of +21, Luxembourg has exactly +-0. However, either Azerbaijan or Ireland will finish the group in last place, their results will be deleted. Luxembourg and Bulgaria could end up with a 2:2 record in a tie-break situation and in this case, would need a better point differential. A very difficult task for Luxembourg.
