On Saturday evening, the LBBL finals started with game 1 of the « best of 5 » series in both the women’s and men’s category.

Gréngewald Hueschtert – T71 Dudelange 62:56
– Gréngewald takes a 1:0 lead in the best-of-5 series, game 2 will be played on Wednesday
– Amanda Cahill (23 points) and Lauren VanKleunen (22) led the Greens to this victory at home

Amicale Steinsel – Etzella Ettelbruck 82:72
– Amicale takes a 1:0 lead in the best-of-5 series, game 2 will be played on Wednesday
– 5 Amicale-players scored in double digits, Kim Aiken (18), Bob Melcher (17) and Jarvis Williams (17) led Amicale while Jimmie Taylor scored 35 for the guests


One game was played in the men’s play-down.

Musel Pikes – Kordall Steelers 71:89
– The Kordall Steelers stay in the race! They beat the Musel Pikes and win the direct comparison which gives the team a chance to overtake the Pikes on the final game day next weekend
– All Kordall-starters scored in double digits, Zachary Watson led the team with 31 points

Mambra Mamer – Gréngewald Hueschtert 99:80
– Mamer secures a spot in the LBBL for the upcoming 2024/25 season
