Gréngewald wins dramatic game against Heffingen and jumps to second place

Game day 9 out of 10 was on the schedule in the men’s National 2 playoffs.

Gréngewald Hueschtert won the direct duell for the second place against US Heffingen and the score could not have been more dramatic. In fact, Gréngewald scored the last 8 points of the game to win 81:77, they needed a 3+ point victory to win the direct comparison. Heffingen collapsed in the final minute and gave away its great chances of promoting. However, the final game day will bring the decision if Gréngewald or Heffingen will finish second. The third placed team will play in the « Barrage » series with a chance to promote.

On Saturday, Black Star Mersch won 96:82 against the promoted team Zolwer while Avanti Mondorf won 82:69 against the Black Frogs Schieren. Both games do not have any influence on the deciisons in the standings.
