Key game between Musel Pikes and Gréngewald

This weekend, game day 13 will be played in the men’s LBBL.

5 games are scheduled for Saturday and the top game of the week will be played in Walferdange where Résidence (9:3) will host T71 Dudelange (9:3), the winner of this game will move past the opponent in the standings. Dudelange won the first meeting 101:92 as both teams should also look to win the direct comparison in case of a tie at the end of the regular season. Another game between 2 teams that are tied in the standings will be played in Stadtbredimus where the Musel Pikes (4:8) host Gréngewald (4:8). The winner of this game will be on a play-off spot after this game day, Gréngewald clearly won the first duell 92:74 so that the Musel Pikes are facing a very difficult challenge to win the direct comparison. The derby between Arantia (5:7) and Heffingen (1:11) is always heated, the guests will play the first game with their new coaching duo of Denell Stephens and Max Schmit. The derby might be a good opportunity for Heffingen to show a different fighting spirit and compete for their second win of the season while Arantia is looking to stay in a good position in the play-off race. League leaders Basket Esch, Etzella Ettelbruck and Amicale Steinsel (all have a 10:2 record) will have a chance to stay on top of the standings: Esch will play on the road in Bertrange as Sparta (3:9) is looking for a first win with new head coach Christophe Flammang. Amicale will host Contern (5:7), a team that wants to stay on a play-off spot.
