In the men’s National 2 play-offs, 5 games out of 10 have been played.
The Kordall Steelers managed to beat Gréngewald Hueschtert 72:68 and earn two big points in the fight for the promotion spots. In fact, Kordall now has a 2-point advantage towards Gréngewald and reduces the deficit towards Schieren to only 2 points with 5 remaining games. The Steelers won the final quarter 23:16, Everette Hammond scored a game-high 30 points. Gréngewald’s cold shooting (2/17 threes) cost them the game and a chance to draw even with the opponent in the standings.
The Black Frogs Schieren managed to compete with the unbeaten league leader Racing Luxembourg, but in the end Schieren lost 96:100, Racing improved to an impressive 21:0 record. Antunio Bivins scored 25 points in just 22 minutes while Brendan Temple added 22 points. Jackson Meshanic had an amazing performance for Schieren, he scored 47 points and added 22 rebounds but it was not enough to grab the victory. In the standings, Schieren is still in second place but the lead towards Kordall is reduced to 2 points.
BC Mess managed to beat AS Zolwer 79:64 in a game that has little influence on the race for promotion as both teams are basically out far behind the third place in the standings. Celneque Bobbit led Mess with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
