Kordall Steelers continue to extend their lead

The 15th game day was played in the men’s National 2 this weekend.

League leader Kordall Steelers extended its lead in the standings with a 83:73 win over Avanti Mondorf. Alan Bedhiranoglu (22 points), Abdulai Bundu (21), Max Schmit (18) and Spencer Scott (17) all had high scoring games for the hosts, Blake Seits led the guests with 29 points. With a record of 13 wins and 2 losses, Kordall will take a big lead into the play-offs and the team of coach Tara Booker is the clear favorite to promote to the LBBL. Mondorf remains in a good position with a 11:4 record.

Racing Luxembourg improves its record to 8:8 with a clear 100:80 win over BC Mess. 5 Racing-players scored more than 10 points in this victory while Sheppard scored half of the points (40) for the guests. Mess has a 4:11 record after this loss.

Mambra Mamer stormed past Black Frogs Schieren, the final score was 97:71. Dakota Zinser scored 29 points to lead the hosts, 5 players scored in double digits as Mamer improves its record to 8:7. Schieren remains last in the standings with a 1:14 record.

The Hedgehogs Bascharage continue to improve their record with a 75:70 win in Wiltz. Tyrell Sturdivant and Christopher Barton combined for 55 points to lead the guests. Bascharage has a 10:5 record in the league standings, Wiltz has won 3 out of 15 games this season.

One game day remains to be played before the start of the play-offs and the play-down.
