– Sparta turned the game around after trailing by 10 points in the 3rd quarter.
– In her first game with the team, newly acquired Mongomo scored a team and game-high 29 points, Schmidt added 22 points for the hosts
– Hodgins scored 25 points for Amicale
– Amicale’s record drops to 6:9, Sparta improves to 4:11
Sparta – T71 91:90 (men)
– First game for T71’s new professional players taylor and Blagojevic, both players had a double-double
– T71 stormed back in the final quarter and the game was decided in the final seconds as Lavone Holland hit a miracle shot from half-court to win the game after Sparta turned the game around on a 3-pointer by Schomer and the last-second shot at the buzzer a few seconds later. Sparta trailed by 5 points with 14 seconds remaining.
– Quintin Dove scored a game-high 40 points against his former team (including big dunks –> video)
– Sparta only made 5/27 shots from outside but 2 big shots to close the game
– T71’s record drops to 5:10 while Sparta’s record improves to 10:4
