FLBB Coach Liz Schmitz was representing Luxembourg the past weekend in Berlin during the Eurobasket 2022 round of 16 and the FIBA Europe coaching clinic.
Her trip was provided by FIBA Europe in recognition of finishing top four in her class when earning her FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate (FECC) from one of the most prestigious coaching programs in European sport, developing coaches who are working with young talent. She was joined by the others who finished top four in their class from the past three years.
She attended panel discussions and in person clinics provided by coaches from the NBA and Europe (Chris Fleming, Giannis Sfairopoulos and Marco Ramondino amongst others). She also benefited from VIP access to the Eurobasket Championship round of 16 in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.
