It is GAMEDAY! Our men’s national team will host North Macedonia at 16:00 at the Coque in Kirchberg. It is the 6th and final game of the FIBA 2029 Eurobasket pre-qualifiers. Doors will open at 14:30.
A qualification for the next round remains possible. Luxembourg needs to win its game against North Macedonia, ideally with a high advantage. At the same time, Bulgaria has to lose its game in group B against Norway. Bulgaria currently has a point differential of +21, Luxembourg has exactly +-0. However, either Azerbaijan or Ireland will finish the group in last place, their results will be deleted. Luxembourg and Bulgaria could end up with a 2:2 record in a tie-break situation and in this case, Luxembourg would need a better point differential to advanace to the next round.
