Our 5vs5 women started the GSSE competition with a clear 64:41 victory over Cyprus on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Luxembourg dominated from the start to beat Andorra 112:32. All 12 players scored points for Luxembourg.
On Thursday, Luxembourg won the third game of the qualification 64:55 against Montenegro, the favorite of the tournament. The FLBB selection played a strong game and was able to win a close game behind key plays in the final minutes.
Luxembourg finished the qualification round first and played the semi final against Andorra on Friday, a game that ended with another clear 90:35 victory for the FLBB squad.
The final (GOLD MEDAL GAME) is scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 against Montenegro.
