The international basketball federation FIBA has published the newest world rankings.
Our men’s national team jumps up 3 places in the rankings and is now the 71st nation to appear on the list. You can see the full ranking here
After great performances in the pre-qualification tournament and another win against Kosovo in February, it is no surprise that Luxembourg’s men jump up in the ranking. It is the second straight time over the last months that Luxembourg has climbed 3 places so that in total, the FLBB-squad jumped up 6 places over the last months.
Our last opponent, Iceland, ranks 46th in this ranking. It is also no surprise that the USA are the leader followed by Spain, Australia, Argentina ans Serbia. Germany is number 17 on the list.
