Big honor for Magaly Meynadier and our basketball federation! The 33-year old national team player, who is currently part of the 5vs5 team in Andorra, was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the games of the small States of Europe on Monday evening together with Alex Kirsch. This is clearly a special moment for Meynadier who participates in her 6th GSSE competition.

It is the second straight time that a basketball player is the flag bearer. In 2023, Nadia Mossong (3X3) was the flag bearer for Luxembourg.
