Men: Game-day on Wednesday and Thursday / Musel Pikes under pressure

The men will play a game-day on Wednesday and Thursday. Over the next weeks, the race for the top 6 spots is the main subject while the top teams will try to grab the top 2 places in the standings.

Games on Wednesday (all games start at 20:00)
Arantia – Heffingen
–> It is derby-time in Larochette! However, both teams are in a different situation, the hosts are in a perfect situation and could even try to grab the 4th place over the next weeks while Heffingen desperately needs wins in order to keep its play-off-chances alive.

Amicale – Telstar
–> Amicale (2:12) is the clear favorite entering a game for the first time since the restart as they face a winless Telstar team (0:14).

Basket Esch – Résidence
–> The top game of the week between Esch (10:3) and leader Résidence (12:2). Walferdange has won 10 games in a row. However, one of their 2 losses early in the season came against Esch. Both teams will also look to win the direct comparison, Esch won the first meeting 93:86!

Racing – T71
–> the situation is getting more and more difficult for Racing (4:10). If they want to make a run at the 6th place, their last chance to do it is this week, they need 2 wins, they face Sparta this weekend. T71 got surprised by Contern and now their chances of finishing on the top 2 spots are in danger.

AB Contern – Sparta
–> Contern is currently 6th and playing very well with a limited roster, but in order to stay in 6th place, they need to win more games and Sparta can be a dangerous opponent as they have shown against Heffingen for 35 minutes last weekend.

Game on Thursday
19:30: Etzella – Musel Pikes
–> As the current 7th placed in the standings, the pressure is on the Pikes to grab wins. They have 2 difficult games this week with Etzella and T71 this weekend. Etzella does not want to lose a home-game and is looking to keep a strong record (11:2 at the moment).
