Men’s Total League: Game-day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

A full game-day will be played during the week starting Tuesday-evening in the men’s Total league.

On Tuesday (20:00), one game is on the schedule, Sparta will host Amicale. The hosts of coach Pascal Meurs have impressed so far playing without professional players. Amicale has not been able to find a defensive rhythm as 218 (!) points have been scored against them in the first 2 games after the restart.

On Wednesday, 4 games will be played. Résidence will have a great opportunity to underline their good position in the standings in the game against Heffingen. However, Heffingen will definitely be an inconvenient opponent. Currently, Heffingen is 7th in the standings so that they need wins in order to stay in a good position in the race for the 6th place.

T71 has restarted well and enters the game against Arantia as the favorite. However, the guests took down Etzella last week and Coach Christophe Ney said that they can now play freely against Dudelange (full interview –> Christophe Ney after Arantia’s win against Etzella: „Our defensive rotation was excellent” ). T71 wants to stay on top of the standings in order to fortify their ambitions to qualify for the semi-finals by reaxching the top 2 places.

AB Contern will enter the home-game against Basket Esch with full confidence after a convincing road-win over the Musel Pikes last weekend. With a victory, Contern could draw even in the standings with the opponent.

The game Racing – Musel Pikes will be a key game this week. Racing lost to Heffingen last weekend, their record (2:5) is challenging and the team needs wins in order to improve its situation. The Musel Pikes are in a similar situation, they are not satisfied with the way they are playing and they lack consistency as Hean Kox mentioned in an article on wort.lu ( –> Auf der Suche nach Konstanz / wort.lu) )

One game will be played on Thursday. After their first loss of the season, Etzella should be able to react with a win as they face the winless team from Hesperange that is playing without professional players.

The women’s Total League is not playing during the week.
