Meshanic and Caruso lead National 2 scoring lists

The 9 teams of the men’s National 2 have played one round of the regular season so far. It is time to take a look at the scoring list of the league.

Compared to the previous 2022/23 season, more JICL players score more than 6 points per game on average in the National 2. While only 13 players were listed last season after the first round, a total of 19 players is listed this season after 8 games. 17-year old Angelos Caruso of Telstar Hesper leads all JICL scorers with nearly 16 points per game, Telstar has not a game so far this season, the promoted team has not added a professional player to its roster. Thierry Schaaf from the surprising co-leader Schieren and Philippe Arendt of the second co-leader Heffingen are tied for second place.
