Mess, Schieren and Heffingen lead the league after 2 game days

Game day 2 was played in the men’s National 2 this weekend.

Led by Jonathan Janssen, who scored a game-high 35 points and added 19 rebounds, US Heffingen was able to grab its second win of the season by beating Black Star Mersch 84:61. Stephens (26) and Culver (24) combined for 50 points for the guests as Black Star loses its second straight game to start the season. Heffingen hit 11 threes compared to only 3 made outside shots by Mersch.

The Black Frogs Schieren cruised past Telstar Hesper, the final score was 105:47 as Schieren starts the season with 2 victories. Five players scored in double digits for the hosts, promoted team Telstar has lost both games clearly to start the season. AS Zolwer was able to grab its first win of the season on the road in Bascharage. Tylik Evans led the team to a 90:60 victory with 37 points and 12 steals. On Sunday, BC Mess was able to surprise Avanti Mondorf and grab a 83:72 win on the road. Davis-Howard led the guests with 26 points as Mess made 53% of its shot attempts to earn a victory.
