Race for the play-off spots continues

A full game day will be played in the men’s LBBL from Friday until Sunday.

Sparta is unbeaten in 2023 and will try to keep the winning streak alive on Friday against T71. With a reord of 9 wins and 10 losses, Sparta could get to an even record and qualify for the play-offs depending on the other results. The main question over the remaining game days will be which teams can grab the last tickets to the play-offs. Contern (8:11 record) is in a decent position as the current 8th seed but faces a difficult challenge on the road in Esch on Saturday evening. Gréngewald (7:12) could put enormous pressure on Contern with a road win over the already qualified Arantia.

The second main question will who can clinch the best ranks before the start of the play-offs. Esch, T71, Etzella and Amicale are contenders for the 1st place after the regular season, everything will come down to the last games in the regular season over the next weeks.

On Sunday, Zolwer and Heffingen will fight for important points in the race against relegation.
