Résidence is looking to catch T71 in the standings

Game day 18 is on the schedule this weekend in the men’s LBBL.

After a key victory on Wednesday, AB Contern can make if a perfect week with another victory on the road against the Musel Pikes. If Contern can win this game, a participation in the play-offs is very close. If we take a look at the standings, it gets clear that Sparta is the team that some teams will try to catch over the final 5 game days. However, the team from Bertrange is in a strong position, especially if it can add a victory against the Kordall Steelers on Sunday.

On top of the standings, Amicale will try to defend the first place, Etzella is sitting in Amicale’s neck and is waiting for a loss by the league’s top team. The team from Steinsel is in a strong position because they earn the tie breaker against Ettelbruck. Behind the top duo, a lot remains possible, the seedings for the places 3-7 will become interesting over the next weeks. At the moment, Dudelange and Esch have the « home court » place in the standings, but can not take their foot off the gas as Résidence, Arantia and Contern will try to jump up places in the standings.
