Résidence qualifies for semi-finals after beating T71 (video-highlights)

On Tuesday-evening, 1 rescheduled game was played in the men’s Total League. Résidence Walfer beats T71 at home and qualifies for the semi-finals as the second seed!

– Professional player Laquincy Rideau was back in action after hisn trip to the USA, Malcolm Kreps is still not back after his injury
– Both teams did not have a shooting touch to start the game, the score was 19:17 after 10 minutes in a game that went up and down very fast with a lot of quick shots
– No teams was able to build a bigger lead during this game. Résidence relied on Rideau to do the scoring while T71 tried to find a way to score against the zone defense by the hosts
– In the 4th quarter, Résidence was able to make the big plays late in the game and finally came out victorious
– Résidence qualifies for the semi-finals! T71 will most likely finish as the 3rd seeded team
– Rideau led his team 33 points
– Muller had 22 points and 14 rebounds for T71

3 more games are left to be played in the Total League before the play-offs start. On Friday, Arantia will host T71 and on Sunday, T71 will finish its regular season at home against Telstar. Racing and Arantia will meet on Sunday.
If T71 gets one more win out of the last 2 games (which is very likely as they face the winless Telstar team), the team will finish third in the standings and face Arantia in the play-in.
