T71 beats Esch, Racing grabs road-win in Contern

In the men’s Total League, 5 games were played on Saturday-evening. The top game was won by Dudelange, in the « derby » against Esch, the hosts had a strong start and never looked back. Most games on Saturday were decided early.

– Harris (29 points, 15 rebounds) and Muller (12 points, 15 rebounds) had double-doubles for T71
– Rugg finished the game with 21 points and 18 rebounds

Sparta – Musel Pikes 73:83
– Sparta plays the rest of the season without professional players
– Verbeelen scored 23 points, Koster, Feipel and Wolff all scored in double digits
– Stone had a game-high 27 points, 5 Pikes-players scored 10+ points

Telstar – Heffingen 82:93
– Traer scored 30 for Telstar (8 « 3s »), Kerschen had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds
– Stephens (23), Max Schmit (20), Jones (17) and Vinson (16) led Heffingen in scoring

Contern – Racing 72:90
– Rutherford (Racing) played his first game in Luxembourg
– Second win of the season for Racing, Giles led his team with 26 points, Soragna added 16
– Racing dominated the rebounding battle (54:25)

Résidence – Arantia 98:82
– Arantia announced before the game that US-player Sturdivant will stay with the club in the upcoming 2021/22 season
– Résidence took control of the game early, they made 15 « 3s » in this game
– Gindt led the hosts with 22 points while Sturdivant had a game-high 32
