On Saturday, the second game of the women’s finals was played.

– T71 Dudelange leads the best-of-5 series 2:0 and needs one more victory to win the title
– Caileigh Walsh (Contern) missed the game
– T71 jumped out to an early lead (37:24) at the break with a strong run to end the second quarter
– The guests dominated uner the baskets while Contern also struggled with a low shooting percentage
– Shalonda Winton led T71 with 22 points, Lauren Van Kleunen added 20 and Catherine Mreches scored 12 for the guests
Game 3 will be played in Dudelange next Friday where the home team will have a chance to win the title.
Meanwhile, the women’s team of Gréngewald Hueschtert promotes to the Enovos League with a 2:0 series win over Black Frogs Schieren.
