Our U16 girls lost the second game at the European Championship (Division B). On Friday, the FLBB squad lost 39:63 against Slovakia. Isa Emilia Hamalainen led Luxembourg with 16 points.

It was a good game against the favorite to move up to Division 1. Luxembourg played well with a good tactical defense making it difficult for Slovakia to dominate the game. Unfortunately by the end of the game Slovakia had a good run and was able to extend the lead. The team of Slovakia was physically stronger making it difficult for our team to succeed in the offense. On Saturday Luxembourg will face the strong team of Romania (21:00).
