The women’s European Championship (Division B) in Luxembourg started on Monday. Over the next days, groups C and D play at Centre Atert. The entry to all games is FREE!
On Monday, plenty of visitors came to see the first game of the U16 FLBB squad. Luxembourg had a strong quarter and the game was very close at the break (42:43 in favor of the the guests from the Netherlands). The opponent started a run in the fourth quarter to create a lead, the Netherlands won 85:64 in the end.
Chiara Rasolofo (17 points), Zoe Freitas (15) and Julie Braun Silva (14) were the main scorers for Luxembourg.
In group C, Ukraine won the first game 72:42 against Austria. The games continue on Tuesday, come and support our team 🏀
