On Saturday, the FLBB squad started the tournament with a win over Great Britain. On Monday, Luxembourg will face Croatia.

Report by the coaching staff:
„In the second game today against North Macedonia, our team was very focused at the beginning and was able to lead the game 18:5 after a couple of minutes. But North Macedonia fought back and we allowed them to score 22 points in the first quarter.

In the second quarter we increased the lead in a convincing way (28 points scored).

After the break, we didn’t allow North Macedonia to get back into the game. Everyone received playing time and multiple players were able to score a basket.

After their second win, the girls are excited to face a very strong opponent (Croatia) tomorrow (Monday).“
