U18 ladies beat Romania 92:82 after overtime

Our U18 ladies have won the second straight game of the European Championship (Division B). After a thrilling 63:62 victory against Greece to start the tournament on Friday, the team of head coach Rumen Galabov was able to beat Romania 92:82 on Sunday after overtime.

Luxembourg stromed back in the second half after trailing by more than 15 points in the first half. The FLBB squad managed to take the lead in the final minute of regulation and Ehi Etute gave the FLBB squad a 1-point lead with 2 free throws 3 seconds before the end of the game, but Romania received 3 free throws and tied the game to secure overtime. In the extra period, Luxembourg secured the victory.

Ehi Etute had a historical another monster game, she finished the game with 40 points and 33 rebounds and added 6 assists and 8 steals, Isa Hamalainen added 25 points while Emma Blasen scored 11 points for Luxembourg.
