– Racing jumped out to an early lead (35:20) and never looked back to start the season with a home victory
– Antunio Bivins scored 35 points while Steinsel had too many turnovers (26) to get back into the game
Kordall Steelers – Etzella Ettelbruck 81:109
– 6 Etzella-players scored in double digits as the guests cruised to a victory on the road
– Deantoni Gordon led Etzella with 27 points while Philippe Gutenkauf added 19
T71 Dudelange – Arantia Larochette 59:89
– The guests dominated the game from start to finish and put an exclamation point on the victory with a 27:4 last quarter
– Joshua McLary scored 24 points in his debut for the guests, Derek Wilson and Edson Sousa scored 13 points each
Basket Esch – Résidence Walfer 78:74
– In a game that was close for 40 minutes, Esch had the stronger start to grab the victory
– Clancy Rugg (23 points), Jordan Hicks (20) and Quinten Nelson (13) combined for 56 points to lead the hosts
Sparta Bertrange – AS Zolwer 86:72
– Sparta jumped out to a quick 15 point lead but Zolwer was able to shorten the gap until the break (45:39)
– The hosts took control of the game with a strong third quarter, AJ John scored 26 points for Sparta
