The cup FLBB finals were played on Friday evening to open the cup weekend in the Coque in Kirchberg. Plenty of supporters were at the gym to watch both final games of this cup competition.
Women:
Black Star Mersch – East Side Pirates 71:32
– Black Star took a big lead early in the game and never looked back to win this final
– Laurie Weber led Black Star with 14 points
Men:
Racing Luxembourg B – Arantia Larochette B 73:82
– Arantia jumped out to a strong start and led 41:24 at the break, Racing tried a late comeback but it was not enough to turn the game around
– David Controguerra led Arantia with 27 points
