Gréngewald Hueschtert and Etzella Ettelbruck are the cup winners 2023! It was a basketball festival in front of 4500 people at the Arena in the Coque in Kirchberg on Saturday evening.
In the women’s category, Gréngewald won the LALUX LADIES CUP. The team was able to turn the game around in the second half after Sparta Bertrange took an early lead on Saturday afternoon, the final score was 71:60.
Samantha Logic led the way for the « GREENS » with 25 points, Shanavia Dowdell (16) and Lauren Van Kleunen (15) scored in double digits as well.

In the men’s category, Etzella Ettelbruck was able to win the title against Basket Esch, the final score was 79:65. The team from Esch took the lead in the first quarter but Etzella turned the game around with the start of the second quarter.
4 Etzella-players scored in double digits, Philippe Gutenkauf scored a team-high 18 points.
