Heffingen and Gréngewald enter National 2 play-offs as the favorites to promote

After 20 games in the regular season, 6 teams have qualified for the National 2 play-offs.

US Heffingen (17:3) will start the play-offs with the best record. The team of head coach Alexis Kreps started the season very strong and looked to be on a clear path to the Enovos League. However, two losses in a row (against Black Star Mersch and Avanti Mondorf) showed that the next weeks will be challenging for the club despite a small advantage to the direct opponents. After struggling to start the season, Gréngewald Hueschtert (16:4) has won 15 straight games and enters the play-offs as the number two seed. The team of head coach Ricky Easterling has the momentum on its side but certainly knows that the most difficult part of the season is still ahead. Zolwer and Schieren (both 15:5) look to stay in the race for the top two spots and will face off against each other on the very first game day in a trendsetting game. Black Star Mersch (12:8) and Avanti Mondorf (11:9) enter the play-offs with a significant deficit, catching up 3 or 4 points in the standings is only possible with a winning streak. Both teams want to use the home court advantage to make a surprise against the top two teams on the first game day.

Competition system:
All teams will play each other twice in a home and away format with a total of 10 game days. After the 10 game days, the best two ranked teams promote to the Enovos League. The third ranked team will play a best-of-3 Barrage series against the third worst ranked team of the Enovos League play-down.

The first game day will be play next weekend.
