The 3rd game day of the National 2 play-offs was played this weekend.
US Heffingen retakes the sole leadership of the table after a 83:80 victory on the road in Mersch. Thomas Quarry led the team with 28 points while Jacob Washington made his debut for the team, he scored 16 points. It was the first victory for Heffingen in the play-offs after 2 losses to start the round.
Gréngewald Hueschtert has lost its second game in a row. At home, Gréngewald lost against the Black Frogs Schieren, the final score was 78:101. Schieren had 5 players in double digits with Khyree Armstead (29) and Eric Anderson (28) leading the way. With this important victory, Schieren reduced the deficit to 1 points towards Gréngewald and Zolwer. Zolwer lost 69:73 on the road against Mondorf. ‘The hosts has won 3 straight games to start the play-offs but still has a large deficit to a promotion spot. Joseph Reuter led the team with 30 points.
