LBBL finals continue on Saturday

The finals in the women’s and men’s LBBL continue on Saturday!

18:30 T71 Dudelange – Gréngewald Hueschtert
20:15 Amicale Steinsel – Basket Esch

In the women’s finals, Gréngewald Hueschtert can win the title on Saturday on the road as the team of coach Franois Manti leads the best-of-5 series 2:0! After winning the cup title, the team from Oberanven has a chance to win the second title of the 2022/23 season. So far, Gréngewald dominated the finals, the team is unbeaten since November and is playing at a very high level at the right moment. T71 needs to find a way to grab a win at home in order to put some pressure on the opponent.

On our facebook page , we made a survey and out of 150 voters, 95 voted that Gréngewald will win the title on Saturday.

In the men’s finals, the series is tied at 1:1 after both teams were able to win on the road to start the finals. Amicale won the game on Wednesday after the team caught fire from behidn the arc in the fourth quarter and will definitely enter the home game with a lot of confidence. Basket Esch knows that they can win on the road if they play well and this game should become another thrilling one for the fans.

Next to the LBBL finals, the decisions in the promotion and relegation race will fall this Saturday –> Final decisions: Which team will promote and relegate?
