On Tuesday evening, Luxembourg’s Senior women’s national team played the sixth and final game of the 2027 FIBA Eurobasket qualifiers (first round).
On the road in Bosnia, Luxembourg lost 73:81 after overtime.
The FLBB squad started the game strong and led 22:8 after 6 minutes. The hosts reacted and fought back into the game before half-time, Bosnia Herzegovina entered the break with a 37:36 advantage.
The game remained intense in the second half and no decision fell in the regular playing time. In the extra 5-minute overtime period, Bosnia Herzegovina had the better finish and came up with the victory.
Magaly Meynadier led Luxembourg with 16 points, Isi Etute, Esmeralda Skrijelj and Anne Simon also scored in double digits.
