It is the fourth game in group A for Luxembourg. The FLBB squad had a 3:1 record after the first loss on Friday on the road in North Macedonia. Ireland has not won a game so far in this qualification and Luxembourg will try to grab a victory and win the direct comparison.

A total of 10 teams is part of the Pre-Qualifiers divided in 3 groups. Four teams – the three group winners and the best-ranked runner-up will advance to the Second Round where they will join eight teams from the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers First Round.
