After a short winter break, the Enovos League returned last weekend with 3 games of game day 13 in the men’s league. This game day continued with 2 games during the week, both games ended in dramatic fashion with decisive late shots.
Musel Pikes – Mambra Mamer 84:86
– Mamer improves to 4:9, the Musel Pikes’ record falls to 3:10
– Jaylen Alexander Key made his debut for the Musel Pikes, he led the team with 27 points
– Mamer led 20:4 after a few minutes, the Musel Pikes stromed back and the hosts had a 1-point lead heading into the final quarter
– In a thrilling final sequence, Mamer came up with the steal and Domenick Sleva (28 points, 19 rebounds) made the decisive with 0.3 seconds remaining to give his team the lead. The Musel Pikes could not use the final inbound to get a shot attempt.
Racing Luxembourg – Kordall Steelers 107:105
– Both teams have a 4:9 record after this game
– Debut for Alex Pires as head coach of the Kordall Steelers
– Steve Lanners hit the decisive 3-pointer to give his team the 107:105 lead, Kordall missed a last chance to win the game (video)
– Antonio Bivins led his team with 37 points, the game was very entertaining with mutliple lead changes over the course of the game including the final minutes

– Esch improves to 8:5 and wins the direct comparison, T71’s record drops to 7:6
– Dudelange played without professional players and without Nelly Stephens, the hosts already trailed 23:46 at the break
