Mondorf wins key game against Racing

Game day 6 was played in the men’s National 2.

Avanti Mondorf has won its third straight game and improves its record to 3:2 with a key win over Racing Luxembourg, the final score was 100:96. With this victory, Mondorf passes the opponent in the standings. Jackson Meshanic led all scorers with 37 points, he also had 20 rebounds to complete a monster game. Steve Kuhlmann (14) and Sven Bartholomey (13) also scored in double digits.

US Heffingen cruised to an easy victory over the Hedgehogs Bascharage, the final score was 94:55 for the guests. Jonathan Janssen led all scorers with 32 points, Philippe Arendt added 19 points. Aziz Ndiaye made his debut for Bascharage, he led the team with 21 points.

Black Star Mersch was able to grab a win on the road over BC Mess, the final score was 98:78. Jeremiah Culver scored 45 points, Marquavian Stephens added 38 points as the duo combined for 83 points, a season high for any duo in Luxembourg.

On Sunday, AS Zolwer earned a 133:52 win over the winless team Telstar Hesper. Zolwer remains in a strong position in the standings.

The unbeaten leader of the league, Black Frogs Schieren, did not play this weekend.
