More decisions could fall this weekend

Game day 21 is on the schedule in the men’s Enovos League on Saturday and Sunday. It is possible that the 8 play-off teams will be known after this weekend.

In fact, the Kordall Steelers can clinch their ticket to the top 8 with a victory at home against Résidence Walfer or in case of a loss by Mamer against Arantia. Mamer needs two victories on the last 2 game days and losses by Kordall at the same time – a difficult scenario. However, the team has to collect points for a potential play-down at the same time, Mamer has a 2-point lead over Racing at this moment.

Next to a potential qualification by Kordall for the play-offs, the seedings for the play-offs will become interesting over the next two weeks. Sparta, Arantia and potentially Etzella will fight for the top spot. The champs from Ettelbruck might have a chance to overtake Arantia on the final game day next week in a head to head duell. The goal for Amicale is to secure home court advantage in the quarter finals, a head to head duell against Basket Esch is coming up next weekend in a potential showdown for the 4th seed.

A lof ot question marks remain and the games of this weekend will have an influence on the calculations for the final game day next weekend, interesting days are ahead in the men’s Enovos League.
