At the General Assembly on Saturday morning, the FLBB had the pleasure to announce Patrick Unger as the new women’s national team head coach.
As the former head coach of the German women’s national team and a coach in the highest league in Germany (Marburg), the 42-year old Unger has the experience and the know-how to help our team reach even higher levels.
Unger will be in action with the team in a few weeks when Luxembourg will play the FIBA 2027 Eurobasket qualifiers with games against Ireland (November 12th), Israel (November 15th) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (November 18th).
We wish him best of luck in his new role and we are looking forward to a long and successful collaboration.
