On Saturday, March 14th, our women’s national team will play at home at the Coque in Kirchberg against Israel. It is the 5th game of the 2027 FIBA Eurobasket qualifiers (first round). The game will be played without spectators, here is a press release on the decision by the FLBB board of directors.

In the specific context of Saturday’s match against Israel, we considered that this priority might not be fully guaranteed. For this reason, and in line with decisions recently taken by other federations, we FLBB decided to hold the match behind closed doors.
Our intention is to keep the focus on basketball and on our team.
