Anne Simon and her university Maine have won the America East regular season championship after finishing with a 21:9 record overall. On Sunday, Maine won the final game of the regular season 63:46 against Ualbany, Simon had another strong performance with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Simon has been spectacular in her final season with the team, now the main goal, which is qualifying for the Marhc Madness tournament, will be the focus. In the quarter finals, Maine will play against Massaschuchetts on Friday, March 8th. Maine won both meeting against the team during the regular season and will enter the game as the favorite.
