The race for the top spots in the men’s Enovos League comes down to the final game day of the regular season. League leader Sparta Bertrange, co-leader Arantia Larochette and third placed Etzella Ettelbruck each have a chance of taking the top spot on game day 22.

In fact, Sparta Bertrange has a chance to clinch the number one seed on Friday evening with a road victory in Dudelange.
If Sparta loses on Friday, the first place will be decided in a head-to-head meeting on Saturday in Ettelbruck between Etzella and Arantia Larochette. However, even of Sparta clinches the number one seed, the duell between Etzella and Arantia will stay important as both teams would then fight for the number two seed. Etzella won the first duell 87:60 and therefore would pass Arantia in the standings with a victory.
Currently 4th, Amicale Steinsel can clinch the 4th spot in a head-to-head duell with Basket Esch. Because Steinsel won the first game against the opponent 79:54, even a 24-point loss would be enough to secure the 4th spot. Both teams will face each other in the quarter finals, Esch can not drop down to 5th because the team has won the direct comparison against Dudelange. T71 will enter the play-offs as the number 6 seed.
Lastly, the Kordall Steelers have a chance to take the number 7 seed with a victory against the Musel Pikes and a loss by Résidence Walfer at the same time.
Plenty of possibilities remain before an exciting final game day.

In the women’s Enovos League, Basket Esch and Amicale Steinsel will fight for the final semi final spot. Esch has the better position and can clinch the 4th spot with a win over Wiltz. Amicale needs a victory and a loss by Esch at the same time.
T71 Dudelange has clinched the first spot and will wait which team they face in the semi finals. Sparta and Contern will meet in the second semi finals series while the Musel Pikes and Wiltz will compete in a play-down with either Esch or Steinsel.
