On Saturday, the cup finals 2026 were played in the Coque Arena (Kirchberg). In total, 5250 people visited the event, one of the highest numbers over the last 20 years.
In the women’s Lalux Ladies cup final, Sparta Bertrange came out victorious beating T71 Dudelange 64:61 in a very thrilling final.
Dudelange stormed back late in the game but could not turn the game around and the team from Bertrange was able to celebrate.
Jordan King led Sparta with 22 points, Adryana Quezada added a double double with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

In the men’s Loterie Nationale Coupe de Luxembourg final, Arantia Larochette was able to beat Etzella Ettelbruck 87:83.
After a balanced first half, Arantia had a strong third quarter to build a lead. Etzella stormed back in the final quarter and the game was decided in a thrilling finish with the better end for Arantia. Etzella had one last chance to tie or win the game with a few seconds reamining, but could not create a shot attempt.
Kevon Godwin scored 25 points to lead Arantia while Vic Heuschling added 22 points.
