– Contern remains winless (0:7), Kordall grabs its second victory (2:5)
– Debut for the new head coach of Contern, Anthony Tomba
T71 Dudelange – Racing Luxembourg 89:79
– T71 improves to 5:2, Racing’s record drops to 2:5
– Jimmie Taylor led T71 with 26 points while Joe Kalmes added a double double (21 points, 16 rebounds) in a game that was closer than the final result appears
Sparta Bertrange – Résidence Walfer 100:94
– Sparta remains unbeaten (7:0), Walfer’s record drops to 3:4
– The hosts turned the game around in the 4th quarter, but had luck in the final sequence as Walfer’s John Slajchert stepped out of bounds before making a difficult 3-pointer that would have forced overtime (video below)
Etzella Ettelbruck – Musel Pikes 113:67
– Etzella improves to 5:2, the Musel Pikes have a 3:4 record
– Etzella took the lead from the start and never looked back to earn a convincing victory, the team hit 19 threes and had 6 players in double digits
Mambra Mamer – Basket Esch 60:83
– Esch improves to 4:3, Mamer’s record drops to 2:5
– Jordan Hicks led Esch with 23 points, Quinten Nelson added 22 and Clancy Rugg 19 as Esch took an early lead to control the game from the start
Arantia Larochette – Amicale Steinsel 83:74
– Arantia has a 5:2 record while Amicale’s record drops to 4:3
– Michael Anthony Carter led Arantia with 23 points, Levickas (18), Godwin (16) and Heuschling (14) scored in double digits as well
In the women’s Enovos League, two games of game day 7 were played on Thursday and Friday.
AB Contern – Musel Pikes 64:39
– Contern has a balanced 3:3 record while the Musel Pikes remain winless
– Stefanie Kulesza led Contern with 17 points, Ana Petrova added 16
Les Sangliers Wiltz – Basket Esch 69:78
– Esch has a balanced 3:3 record after playing each team once, Wiltz has a 1:5 record
– Wiltz fought back in the second half but Esch stayed calm and had the better finish to secure the victory behind 31 points by Jovana Jaksic
The game Sparta Bertrange – Amicale Steinsel will be played on November 23rd.
