Mambra Mamer, Racing Luxembourg, Musel Pikes and AB Contern will compete in the men’s play-down 2025/26.
6 game days are on the schedule, only the first team in the final standings is sure to compete in the men’s Enovos League 2026/27. The second placed team will play a relegation-series against the third ranked team from the National 2 play-offs. The third and fourth ranked teams will relegate to the National 2.
A look at the standings shows a clear picture. Mamer, Racing and the Musel Pikes are the 3 contenders for the first spot. Mamer starts with a small 1-point advantage while Racing and the Pikes have finished the regular season with the exact same record.
AB Contern faces a mission impossible. The team needs every single game in the play-down to end with a specific result in order to reach the second place. In fact, Contern needs 6 victories and in addition, Mamer needs to win all 4 games against Racing and the Pikes while the Pikes and Racing would need to split their games as well which reduces the hopes of Contern to pure mathematical chances.
